Came here about 2 weeks ago and wanted to get my dress fixed up for ball and i found the lady was very abrupt and rude towards both me and my friend who were there and was not very helpful. I will never be going back there. I was informed by a friend yesterday who went here a while ago that they were rude to her and made her feel very stupid and constantly kept grunting when she answered a question. NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND WILL BE TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS THE SAME.

Ruth is friendly, helpful and does great work. She took up my motorcycle jeans (not the first pair either) which are notorious to work with, for less than $40. Brilliant. She's alright.

Ruth saved the day! My wedding dress was delayed through the post so didn't come until 3 days before my wedding & it didn't fit! Contacted Ruth & she was able to see me the same day. Ruth worked wonders with my wedding dress, it did not look like a simple job! It fits perfectly now & can't even tell it's been altered. It was also too long & she did a perfect job fixing that. She has oodles of experience with wedding dresses, she even used to make wedding dresses. You can trust her not to screw up your expensive dream wedding dress!
