Excellent service..had a special dress made for a 50th birthday and it was amazing..everyone commented on how perfect the dress was. Thanks so much :)

My mother was suggested to use adore to have her wedding dress altered by the shop she purchased her dress from. I’m very sad to say her alterations were not done properly at all, she requested to have her dress altered to her height with her bridal shoes on and although they took some length off it was still long and caused her to be tripping on it all day/night including when she was walking towards her awaiting husband to be down the aisle! On top of that her bust part of her dress was supposed to be altered as it was quite a lot to big for her bust size and it wasn’t altered to fit her at all her dress rode up and she had issues with her cups exposing her breast, which is not something you should be concerned about during your wedding. Also her dress was supposed to be bustled and the bustle was done so poorly it actually broke and she ended up having to take her dress off and change into something else midway through her reception as she was worried about more damage being done as she couldn’t walk or dance properly in the dress due to the poor alterations. I wouldn’t recommend using this alteration service the price she paid was not worth the fact that this was done to her.

Wow!! I came to Kay with a week before my event with a dress that didn’t fit, she had it done so quickly and did an amazing job!! Would 100% recommend!

Kate, Erin and the Ilka team did an amazing job with both our wedding dresses!One dress was a very large ballgown dress which caused some raised eyebrows at other bridal alterations places we met with first! However, when we met with Kate, she gave us complete confidence in her ability to a) work with a dress of that size and b) maintain the integrity of the dress when resizing the heavily and intricately beaded bodice. Before meeting with Ilka we had been told that large portions of the beading would have to be cut away in order to achieve the right fit, but at Ilka they managed to find a solution that retained the majority of the bodice and achieved a perfect fit!The second dress we wanted to add a layer of glitter tulle to the skirt which they did beautifully. They also spent a lot of time ensuring all the layers of the skirt were hemmed perfectly.They are LGBTQ friendly and were excited and supportive of our upcoming wedding.Could not recommend them highly enough!

I cannot recommend Dion for Brides enough! I booked a private appointment and it was the most incredible VIP experience I've ever had. Bella, Lisa & the entire Dion for Brides team made me feel so welcome and comfortable and my bridesmaids & I got to enjoy some champagne and nibbles while I tried on the beautiful selection of gowns on offer.Bella was so attentive and kind. She payed careful attention to what my likes and dislikes were and provided me with options based on this. Bella, you were nothing short of incredible.I cannot fault my experience, it was everything I could have hoped for and more. I recommend every bride to go to Dion for Brides!!

I dropped my doona in for dry cleaning.What I dropped in was a $380 500 GSM box-stiched Australian merino wool doona. That was not what was returned to me.What I got back was in neither appearance or quality even close to my doona. It was not box-stitched. I doubt it was 500 GSM or even wool for that matter.After losing my high-quality doona and paying the dry cleaning fee for this sub-standard doona, I now have to go and buy a new doona.They offered me a 20% discount of my next service!I will not be returning!

Terrible. Dropped off a skirt for a new hook clasp and she couldn't be bothered buying supplies and stitched a few loops of cotton as the catch instead. Took two weeks too. Charged me $30! Experience also very odd.

Amazing service and did an exceptional alteration on a very expensive dress. Darn It is the only place I trust to do my alterations, no job too tricky. Expensive in comparison but worth it in my opinion.
